Railroad Trackman A/ Trackman B

Trackman A ($16.00)
Works with direction from the Supervisor and/or Foreman/Operator.
Performs the day to day duties with the repair activities of the RR maintenance crew.
Assists in the unloading and distribution of track material (rail, ties, spikes, plates etc.
Corrects deviation in track surface, alignment and gage
Installs and repairs street crossings
Operates tools in the performance of duties such as rail saw, track wrench, spike maul, claw bar and others as needed
Sprays switches, angle bars, curves and joints; lubricates track when/where necessary

Trackman B ($14.00)
Works with the direction of Trackman A and is in training to become a Trackman A
Assists Trackman A with all his work
Has minimal knowledge of track repair and operation of tools.
Learns everything to become a Trackman A
Minimum 6 months as a Trackman B before becoming a Trackman A

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
