8K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Pelican Point Golf Club is hiring lifeguards for Pelican Point Pool for the 2024 season (May through September 2024).
Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of facility members by preventing and responding to emergencies and must maintain a current American Red Cross lifeguarding certification.
This position must be knowledgeable of the policies and procedures defined by the department.
Additional responsibilities include completing assigned maintenance responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe swimming environment.
Job Duties:
Ability to prevent accidents Ability to react calmly, effectively and as trained in emergency situations Ability to enforce pool rules courteously, professionally and respectfully Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of customer service standards and procedure Ability to test water chemistry, report results and clean pool properly Certification must be up to date.
