Providing direction to Service Coordinators and Technicians in the service and repair of customer's equipment.
Essential Functions Position reports directly to ownership Oversee hiring, training and monitor all service department personnel.
Supervise all Service Department personnel.
Supervise the opening and closing of work orders for control of each shop job Ensure jobs are progressing through in a timely manner, avoiding unnecessary delays Be the primary contact for factory representatives when regarding service issues Overseeing all warranty repairs.
Including filing of warranties, and following up on payment from manufacturers on warranty repairs.
Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability.
Maintain and monitor detailed records of time and performance of Service employees.
Ensure all locations are up to date on required certifications.
Order and maintain needed shop supplies.
Monitor customer satisfaction through phone calls and on-site visits.
Coordinate with ownership and service coordinator on programs, warranties and technical machine problems.
Interview and select qualified personnel.
Meet quarterly with ownership to discuss status of the shops.
Act as the site/shop safety coordinator.
Monitor training needs and provide for the delivery of such training as required.
Create and lead service promotions through CRM software program Candidate
Qualifications:
Strong technical/mechanical acumen is required Strong Leadership Skillset PC proficiency required to quickly acclimate to industry specific software Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
