6 Quick Apply Part-time 5 hours ago Full Job Description The Center Coordinator of Operations is the local administrator who oversees the day-to-day operations, facility, and book/supply needs of the local center, as well as manages the local major fundraising event.
Tasks are listed below.
Some travel is required; to be considered, one must be able to attend training in Dallas, TX on July 17-21, 2023, and attend local training for 3 days in August (August 7-9).
It is preferred that local administrators also teach 2-3 classes at the local center.
This position is a part-time, hourly position, requiring work hours about 8:
45-3:
15 pm on Mondays/Thursdays at the local center (nursery provided).
Work from home 1pm-4pm Tuesday/Wednesday (Friday only as needed).
Work schedule is compatible for parents caring for children.
Ongoing Daily Operations Open or close facility (coordinate with CCE-one admin opens and one admin closes) Daily attendance in FACTS Submit supply requests to the Business Office for office, cleaning, and classroom, supplies by the stated deadline.
Teach up to 2 classes Schedules Assign classrooms for courses on Master Schedule Send schedules to tutors, students, and parents by set deadline Committee Management Schedule all committee meetings at the beginning of the year Follow-up with committee leads before each event Facilities Management Oversee cleaning and use of facility Work with facilities manager in matters pertaining to facility use.
In the event that the center needs to be relocated, it will be the Center Coordinator of Operations responsibility to oversee and coordinate the finding of three viable options for space.
Once three locations are found, someone from the home office will come to visit the sites and negotiate the lease.
Center Records Maintain center files both hard copy and digital.
Create a Center Binder All Drive files shall be maintained according to RCA norms Center Special Events Organize and manage parent volunteers for each event committee Attend center planning meetings for each committee as needed Purchase all needed supplies for events Oversee events and maintain consistency with RCA policies.
Off Center Activities Coordinate off center activities, such as field trips and the family picnic Purchase any items needed for these activities Family Interviews Administer assessment tests Collect any application fees or assessment fees that are due in cooperation with the Business Office.
Assist with tours, as needed Book Distribution Check all book distribution information Distribute books to tutors Oversee collection of tutor books at the end of the school year Collect and redistribute books when tutoring responsibilities are changed, such as when someone leaves or is newly hired mid semester Store and inventory any books that are not used during the year Center Calendar Maintain the center calendar.
Manage Center Money Transactions Collect monies for your center Account for all monies and send information to the home office Deposit money into the bank within 24 business hours and record on the deposit log Main Center Fundraiser Serve as committee chair for the Center main fundraiser Oversee ticket sales, auction, raffle, and corporate sponsorship with help of committee Manage budget and target goals Staff Training Assist during staff training Prepare documents for staff training End of the Year Oversee used book and uniform sale Oversee end of the year cleaning Coordinator Training Join in conference calls made from the home office Attend summer coordinator training Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
